Crane Organisation Headed by Dy. Chief Mechanical Engineer (Crane)

All it’s activities hovers around mechanical organizations. Functionally it’s activities can be broadly divided into two groups: Repair & Manufacturing. All activities are carried out under different mechanical organization headed by a JA Grade officer:

Highlights:

  • Trouble Shooting   guide  for  140T crane  (Old design and New design) prepared.
  • Do’s & Don’ts issued for  crane operating and  supervising  staff.
  • Workshop for Divisional officers on  maintenance and operation of 140T crane organized.
  • Heat Treatment of weld joints of  bogie bolster  and  side bearers introduced.
  • Welded joints   in hydraulic pipe line have been  reduced  and  hydraulic testing of weld joints  introduced.
