Bihar State Tourism Development Corporation (BSTDC) has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with UK-based Pandaw Cruise India recently for a 10 day cruise on Kolkata-Varanasi route over the river Ganga, which is scheduled to sail in September 2009.
It will offer 30 double bed AC rooms, open deck, a dining hall, bar, restaurant, massage centre, big hall and emergency medical facilities.
The cruise will cover 500 km. It will have six day stoppages in Bihar which will include Kahalgaon, Munger, Barh, Patna and Buxar.
Tourists will have an opportunity to visit places like Munger Yoga Ashram, Vikramshila University, dolphin sanctuary in Kahalgaon, Nalanda Mahavihara, Rajgir, Bodh Gaya and Patna.
